Leicester and District Group Ramblers' Association

Part of a national organisation, The Ramblers' Association, which exists to facilitate, for the benefit of everyone, the enjoyment and discovery that walking outdoors can bring; and to promote respect for life in the countryside.The group has a very full programme and there are walks and events to suit everyone. Leicester and Rutland Walking Group

A local walking group affiliated to the Ramblers' Association under the general banner of Younger People's walking groups with an age range of 26-45 years. The LRWG do a lot of walks and social events around the county as well as walks in Derbyshire / Wales / Lake District etc. both short evening walks - 4-6 miles and weekend's up to 14 miles.
